Wallace Livestock Insurance Agency Pty Ltd (WLIA) has been insuring horses for the Australian equine, bloodstock and performance industries since 1977. It was at that time Quentin Wallace, founder & Executive Chairman of International Racehorse Transport Pty Ltd (IRT) extended IRT's services to include horse insurance by establishing WLIA.

Our qualified staff - some with over twenty years experience - maintain a specialised knowledge in the fields of both bloodstock and insurance to provide clients with an unrivalled service. It is the ability to understand all aspects of the horse industry, and appreciate each individual client's needs and concerns that makes Wallace an integral part of the Australian equine management, not just another insurance company.

A founding commitment to bloodstock care that has now lasted for over twenty years has led Wallace to acquire a number of longstanding clients and friends. Many of whom are more than happy to voice their support for the company.

In 1993 Wallace Livestock Insurance recognised a need to secure the future of the company and its clients even further. It was then that Wallace took up an exclusive Australasian agency with one of the world's most recognised specialty insurers; American Livestock Insurance Company (ALSIC).

ALSIC were founded in 1952 and is now the premier live stock insurer in the United States. Their experience in the insurance and live stock industries runs from the directors to the operating officers, who now cover all fifty US states and many other international regions.

Perhaps most reassuring among ALSIC's achievements however, is their A+ (superior) rating from the insurance industry's most experienced and respected rating agency, A.M. Best Company.

It is no wonder then that Wallace Livestock Insurance are renowned for the fast, uncomplicated payment of claims that our clients expect and deserve.
